Billy Wayne Harvill

Billy Wayne Harvill, 69 of Weeki Wachee, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Vince Tharpe, Jr.; 2 daughters, Tina (Harry) Betz and Vickie Tharpe. Also surviving are his brother, Jerry Harvill; his grandchildren, Harrison Betz, Ryan Tharpe, Katie Tharpe, Camille and her husband, Greg Zwart, Felicia Whitehead; great-grandchildren, Michael and Gabriel Whitehead and Violet and Charlotte Zwart; and his son, Billy Wayne (Rocky) Harvill, Jr. and his family. Wayne came to Florida from Athens, GA and was Baptist. He was an honorably discharged US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, a member of the VFW, enjoyed fishing smoking cigars, coin collecting, reading and was an avid history buff. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was predeceased his daughter, Tammy Truelove. A Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held on June 16th, 2019 from 2-5 pm at DeMarco Family Funeral Home 5399 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL. 34606. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local VFW post in his memory. The family has entrusted care and services to DeMarco Family Funeral Home.
