Bruce McCall, 70 passed away 6/20/18. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved hunting, fishing, hanging out in bars, cowboy movies, watching professional wrestling, playing baseball, steak, french fries, salt, women of all shapes and sizes ,history, ice cream , carrot cake, topless bars, diet soda, guns, dogs, hats, reading, playing chess, swimming and many other things. Most of all Bruce loved the people around him. Bruce was the rare type of person that would do anything for anybody no matter what he got in return. His personality was equal parts charming and uncomfortable. He just wanted to have fun all the time. He was born in New Jersey but spent the last 28 years living in Florida. He had jobs laying asphalt to build roads, as a Forestry Park Ranger and as a Bar Bouncer but his favorite profession was when he went to work for himself as a Hunting Guide up in Maine hunting Bear and Deer and living off the land. Bruce was the oldest son to Donald & Ethel McCall. Brother to Craig McCall. Husband to Valerie McCall. Father to Shane McCall, Jolene McCall, Dawn Milligan-Myers, Holly Milligan, Rebecca Milligan and Sean Milligan. Grandfather to Hayley McCall, Draven McCall, James Myers, Joseph Myers, Claude Corter, Cheyenne Corter and Mathew Taylor. Great Grandfather to Harley Del Vall. He had many cousins and extended family. He also had many, many friends that were like family to him as well. He had no enemies except boredom. "Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another." There will be a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, July 10th from 7:00-9:00 P.M. with a service beginning at 8:00 PM at DeMarco Family Funeral Home Chapel, 5399 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL. The family has entrusted care and services to DeMarco Family Funeral Home.
