Donald Kolb, 86 of Brooksville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born in Kewanee, Illinois and moved to Florida in the beginning of 2000 from New Hampshire. He is survived by his loving wife of over 61 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Kolb; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Russell MacMannis and Karen and Vin Petrini. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Fraser (Meaghan) MacMannis, Laurie (Mindo) Andrade, Tim MacMannis, Alexandra Petrini and Rachel Petrini and his two great-grandchildren, Russell MacMannis,III and Ellie MacMannis. Don retired from Branson Sonic Power as the Vice President of Marketing at the age of 52. He restored and appraised antique cars and won two national awards for restoration in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He was an avid golfer who could be found on the golf course at Glen Lakes five times a week; he also enjoyed playing tennis, fishing, sculpting, making furniture and restoring antique cars. He was a great athlete, but most importantly, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. At Don's request, services will be private.
