Ruth (Bunny) Faust Fellman, 92, formerly of Pompton Plains, Bedminster and Livingston, died Wednesday, October 25, 2018. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Bunny was the daughter of Jeanette and Wallace Faust. Ruth attended Nursing school where she met Norman Fellman on a blind date. They fell in love and were married in December of 1948. The couple settled in Livingston, New Jersey. Norman opened a shoe store, Norm Fellman Boot Shops in Union, and worked there until his retirement while Bunny worked summers as a camp nurse at a YMCA camp in NJ, and also was a substitute nurse for the Livingston school systems. Together with their daughters, Norman and Bunny followed their dream and moved to Bedminster in 1978, where they enjoyed operating a horse farm. After retiring, the couple enjoyed spending half the year at their farm, and the other half of the year in Arizona. They volunteered in both NJ and AZ Veterans Hospital with their therapy dog, bringing much comfort to the vets and their families. Bunny is lovingly survived by her daughters, Wynne Davis and Mindy Fellman; her sons-in-law, Stewart Davis, and Gary Boivin; her grandchildren, Sara Davis and Aram Boivin; and a great grand daughter, Reese Hendricks.. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, and daughter, Penny Boivin. A Celebration of Life Open House will be in her honor at her home in Florida on November 10, 2018 from 2-5 pm. Burial will be held at a future date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
